i almost missed my bus to San Isidro- i pulled up just as it was arriving... the Family from Oregon wasn't as fortunate. they will have to wait for the next bus @ 2:30PM or Pay a Taxi/Shuttle Service.
Morgan & Shannon were on the bus.. Morgan thought it was crazy how close i was to missing the bus . took about an hour to get to San Isidro (35km)- up mtns, very beautiful. there was a particularly nice mtn town about 1/2 way. OH another thing- i got to the station @ 7:30AM (thought the bus came at 7:50)... turns out it was supposed to be there @ 7:15. we arrived in San Isidro @ 8:15ish- Morgan, Shannon, & i went directly to "MUSOC" bus system 4 a ticket to San Jose (bus every hour on the 1/2). Got there @ 8:30 & bought a ticket for 9:30, then we went to MacDonald's 4 breakfast.
the bus to SJ was pleasant & we cruised into town about 12:30, maybe 1PM (i had sat by a nicaraguan guy who comes to CR to work construction b/c it's better money in CR). i was @ Ave22 & Main St- i booked it to Ave7 & 6th St. by this time i just wanted to be in my room @ the Best Western.
i checked in about 1:45. when i unloaded all my stuff i noticed some items were wet & gross. I tossed my ebc shirt out the window (goodbye my friend =[) dawned 3 pairs of underpants & my boardshorts & headed 4 the pool. the h20 was SO COLD! & ppl thought i was crazy. i did 7 laps. i think the chlorine killed the germs/etc. next i went to the cafe 4 a burger, fries, & coke (only the Coke tasted normal)... & now ??
So i walked into town & bought various touristy items. i'm about to enjoy a mixed salad & complimentary soda. 2morrow i have a wake up call for 6AM, complimentary breakfast & courtesy shuttle to Airport (7AM) & i'm out of here.
